Mr. Brooks is the Director of Planning and Zoning for the City of Lebanon, New Hampshire.
He joined the City in 2005 and has been studying and working in the field of Zoning and Land Use Planning since 1996.
Before coming to Lebanon, Mr. Brooks was the Zoning Administrator for the Town of Barnard, Vermont. He also worked for Land Marks, a private consulting firm specializing in Planning, Design, and Permitting in eastern Long Island, New York. While completing a graduate degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Mr. Brooks worked for the City of Portland, Oregon, the Blaine County (Idaho) Housing Authority, and the City of Sherwood, Oregon.

Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, North Carolina State University, Raleigh, North Carolina
Master of Urban and Regional Planning, Portland State University, Portland, Oregon
His primary background in Planning is the interaction of land use and transportation. He also has a developing interest in stormwater management. Outside of planning, his interests include golf, hiking, skiing, and travel.
