1. What are the library hours?

The Lebanon Public Library is currently closed but plans to reopen in January. The Kilton Public Library is currently open Monday through Thursday, 10:00am to 6:00pm and Friday and Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Contactless pickup is available 24/7. 2. What local history/genealogical resources do the libraries have?

The Lebanon Public Library History Room collection houses research materials on Lebanon, the Upper Valley, and on the State of New Hampshire. It is the library's goal to make these unique materials available for public use. 3. How do I get a library card?

Persons who wish to apply for a library card may do so at the Reference Desk at either the Kilton or Lebanon Public Libraries (cards are good for each library). Please bring proof of residency; for example, a current driver's license, a lease, or a bill addressed to the Lebanon or West Lebanon residence of the person requesting the card. You can start the process at home and register as a new patron online. More information about getting your library card online.

4. Do the libraries have Internet stations for public and Wi-fi?

Both libraries have a combination of desktop computers and laptops for patrons. Public Internet stations at both libraries are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Wireless connectivity for patrons with laptops is available throughout the building.

5. How do I book the meeting room at Lebanon Public Library?

The Lebanon Public Library meeting room, located on the basement level, is available at no cost to individuals and organized groups in the Library service area for civic or nonprofit use. The room is available during regular business hours. No admission may be charged by individuals and groups using the meeting room. For Profit Groups will be charged a fee of $20 for the first 4 hours and $5 per hour thereafter.

The Kilton Library meeting rooms include the Community Room, the Conference Room, and the Tutorial Room.

The Community Room at Kilton Library is a multi-use room with a seating capacity of 120. For-profit groups may use the room at a charge of $75 minimum for the first 4 hours and $15 per hour thereafter. Wireless access and a projector are available. The Conference Room at Kilton Library is for meetings of 12 or fewer. For-profit groups may use the meeting room at a charge of $20 minimum for the first 4 hours and $5 per hour thereafter. Wireless access is available.

The Tutorial Room at Kilton Library is for meetings of 4 or fewer. It is available on a first come, first served basis. Tutors being paid for their services may use this room at a fee of $2 per hour. Wireless access is available.
