Lebanon Pool Opening

Summer is knock, knock, knocking on our door and nothing signals "summer fun" more than the opening of the Lebanon Veterans Memorial Pool! Make sure to mark your calendars for Monday, June 11th when we begin our pre-season schedule with daily hours from 4pm to 7pm. The pool will open for its regular season on Friday, June 15th.  

While you are waiting, make sure to register for LebRec's ARC Lifeguarding Certification Course, sign-up for swim lessons, and make your Splish Splash Pavilion party reservations. The deadline for Session 1 Swim Lessons is Monday, June 11th and you can do it all online at LebanonNH.gov/Register

Hike Indian Ridge

You are invited to join UVLT and City of Lebanon staff on a hike along Indian Ridge Trail. The hike will commence from the trailhead parking located “off” Lahaye Drive, almost directly adjacent the southern entrance to DHMC hospital. The property contains historic stone walls, mature hardwood and softwood forest stands, as well as stream and wetland features. (2.5 miles, moderate to strenuous)

Public Review Meeting: Lahaye Path Design

You are invited to attend a meeting on June 13th to learn about a bicycle/pedestrian facility improvement project along Lahaye Drive, between Route 120 and Mt. Support Road. All are encouraged to attend the meeting to ask questions and review conceptual design ideas prior to ensuing project milestones such as review of a proposed action. This is the second of several public participation opportunities.

Filing Period for September NH State Primary

Declarations of Candidacy for the Office of State Representative and for Delegates to the Republican State Convention will be accepted at the Lebanon City Clerk's Office beginning Wednesday, June 6, 2018 and ending at 5:00 PM on Friday June 15, 2018. Candidates will appear on the ballots for the September 11, 2018 NH State Primary.

Lebanon Farmers’ Market – Thursday, June 7th, 4pm to 7pm, Colburn Park; Enjoy wonderful selections of local fresh produce, plants, prepared foods, baked goods and handmade crafts. Please support our local farmers and vendors by shopping at the Lebanon Farmers’ Market!

Friday Funday on Colburn Park – Friday, June 8th 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, Colburn Park; A casual drop in program for children ages baby to 5 to come and play. Summertime is here and Leb Rec has the gear (aka toys). Come, play, meet and maybe make new friends!

Build Your Own Picnic Table – Saturday, June 9th 9 am to 12 pm; Join Leb Rec and LaValley’s on a Saturday morning and build your own picnic table! Cost includes all material and tools to build a picnic table and plans and assistance on assembly. Local delivery available if needed. Register online at LebanonNH.gov/Register.

Swim Lessons Session 1 Reg. Deadline - Monday, June 11th; 3 week long sessions to teach American Red Cross sanctioned swim lessons for those ages 3-17. Register online at LebanonNH.gov/Register.

Opening Day at Lebanon Memorial Pool – Monday, June 11th 4 pm to 7 pm; Pre-season hours of the Lebanon Memorial Pool begin Monday, June 11th. The pool will be open from 4 pm to7 pm during the pre-season days. The pool will open for the regular schedule on Friday, June 15th.

Upper Valley Community Band Show – Thursday, June 14th 7 pm, Colburn Park; Following the Lebanon Farmers’ Market. Come enjoy a FREE special performance by the Upper Valley Community Band in the park. A great way to kick off the summer concert series.

Tennis Lessons Reg. Deadline: Friday, June 15th; For those entering Pre-School through 8th Grade, challenge yourself to learn a lifetime sport. A fun introduction to tennis for younger players using modified equipment. Racquets are available. Lessons are conducted outdoors. Register online at LebanonNH.gov/Register.

ARC Lifeguarding Certification – Monday, June 18th through Friday, June 22nd, Lebanon Memorial Pool; Become an American Red Cross lifeguard with this blended course, requiring 7.25 hours online and 20 hours in person. Provides the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize & respond to aquatic emergencies. Register online at LebanonNH.gov/Register.

Outdoor Adventures – For youth ages 12-17, join Lebanon Recreation for exciting trips & choose your adventure this summer: rock climbing, mountain biking, teen kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, river tubing and hiking! Register online at LebanonNH.gov/Register.

Lebanon Food Truck Festival – Friday, June 22nd 5 pm to 9 pm; Your ticket includes entrance to the festival with access to purchase food at 11 food trucks and alcoholic beverages from Salt hill Pub, a ticket for a $3 sample at any food truck and live entertainment by Brooks Hubbard Band! Tickets for children ages 5 and under are free and do not include a free sample. Tickets are on sale at LebanonNH.gov/Register.
