Lebanon Launches Multisite Solar Project

photo of Lebanon City Hall rooftop by clock tower

The City of Lebanon is looking for a solar company to develop and finance a multi-site solar PV project that includes both building rooftop systems and ground-mounted systems.

The total project is to be multi-phased with the first phase exploring the potential for at least thirteen City-owned sites, inclusive of City Hall, Kilton Library, DPW Administration and Maintenance Buildings, the Police Station, Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants, the Landfill, and the Terminal Building at the Airport.

While the intent of Phase 1 is to develop solar to power City facilities, it is envisioned by the Lebanon Energy Advisory Committee that subsequent phases will offer power to residents, institutions, and local businesses.

A formal Request for Proposals for phase 1 of this project can be found on the City of Lebanon's Bids page at LebanonNH.gov/Bids.
