Walk to School Day is a nationwide event that increases awareness of the need for walkable communities and year-round safe routes to schools. These events also encourage walking and biking to school throughout the year.
On Friday, May 4, 2018, the Lebanon Police Department joined Mount Lebanon Elementary School on their spring Walk to School Day. Students and Officers walked from the West Lebanon Mascoma Bank, Smith Field, Crafts Ave, Seminary Hill School, and Highland Ave.
Last Friday, April 27, was Hanover Street School's spring Walk to School Day, where students and Officers walked from the Lebanon Green, the Old Sacred Heart School corner, and from near The Boulders apartments corner.
