For 32 years, The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth has hosted Masters Of Business Administration (MBA) candidates from the country’s most prominent business schools for the Tuck Winter Carnival. For its 33rd year, Tuck needed a different location for their Friday night and Saturday night receptions. What about the LEB Airport?
After a very concerted, collaborative effort by Tuck, the Lebanon City Manager’s Office, Police Department, Fire Department, and Airport - Tuck successfully held its Winter Carnival receptions on February 23 and 24 at LEB Airport’s West Ramp next to the terminal.
More than 575 people attended the event after being bussed from various Winter Carnival venues in the area. Over 250 visiting attendees stayed at hotels in Lebanon. Tuck pitched a 4,000 square foot tent for the event with catering DJ, a band, and an ice sculpture of the Tuck insignia and Dartmouth mascot.
Due to this year’s success, Tuck and the Lebanon Airport hope the Tuck Winter Carnival receptions will become an annual event at the Airport.
