On Sunday, January 8, the Lebanon, New Hampshire Elks Lodge hosted the District “Hoop Shoot” at the CCBA. The Elks Hoop Shoot is a Free Throw Program and Contest for children ages 8 to 13. Winners of the District Contest will eventually move on to compete in a State contest with the ultimate goal to make it to the Finals in Chicago, Illinois.
Several Lebanon Police Officers, organized by Officer Dakota Derego, volunteered to assist with the contest and served as rebounders for the warm-up period and for the competition. The Lebanon Police Department is proud to support the Elks organization and “Hoop Shoot”, a great program for our area youth.
