At 0730 hours the Lebanon Fire & Police Departments were dispatched to a report of a motor vehicle fire on Interstate 89 between Exits 18 and 17. Lebanon Police units reported fire visible from the engine compartment area. Upon arrival Lebanon Fire units deployed a single 1 3/4 inch hoseline and extinguished the fire. Due to outside temperatures at 17 degree F, the interstate became icy and State of NH DOT was requested to sand the roadway. All units cleared the scene at 0815 hours.
