On Sunday, November 27, 2017, after issuing the initial press release concerning the Jiffy Mart robbery, the Lebanon Police Department received several tips through our LebanonNH.gov/CLUE online tip portal, including a tip on the identity of the suspect.
Subsequent investigation revealed that the robbery suspect was in an apartment at the Boulder’s Condominium Complex located at 20 Wolf Road in Lebanon, New Hampshire. A warrant was sought for the suspect’s arrest, as well as a search warrant for the apartment where it was believed he was located. Both were granted by a Judge from the 2nd Circuit Court. Due to the possibility that the suspect could be armed with a firearm, the Lebanon Police Tactical and Containment Team was activated to assist.
At approximately 3:40PM on this same date, the Lebanon Police Tactical and Containment Team made entry through the front door to the apartment, which had been barricaded by the suspect. Once inside, Joshua Park, age 32, of 20 Wolf Road was taken into custody without further incident. Park is charged with Armed Robbery, a Class A Felony. He declined the services of a bail commissioner and was scheduled to be arraigned in Grafton County Superior Court this morning. Investigators believe Park was armed with a BB pistol during the robbery but that pistol has not yet been recovered. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
