The following contains information pertaining to citywide closures, parades, activities, displays, and resources relating to Veterans Day in Lebanon, NH.

Citywide Closures
Please be advised that City Hall, Lebanon Libraries, and all other City offices will be closed on Friday, November 10, 2017 in observance of Veterans Day. The Lebanon Solid Waste & Recycling Facility will be OPEN regular hours. Please remember to purchase landfill tickets before Friday if needed.

Please also note that:

  • the Lebanon Solid Waste Facility will be OPEN regular hours on Saturday, November 11, 2017.
  • the Lebanon Libraries will be OPEN regular hours on Saturday, November 11 and Sunday, November 12, 2017.


Veterans Day Parade & Activities
The following events celebrating Veterans Day, November 11, 2017, are sponsored by the American Legion Guyer-Carignan Post 22. View their website for complete details and location information.

Parade and Ceremonies
11:00am - Beginning at the CCBA to Spencer Street, Campbell Street, around Colburn Park followed by a ceremony in the park.


Displays & Resources
There will be a Veterans Day display at the Kilton Library through November 14th. Please bring your photos of those who have served in your family, and indicate the name of the person and the branch of the military in which he or she served. Thank you for helping to carry on this tradition at the Kilton Library in West Lebanon!
