On October 9, 2017 at approximately 12:30AM, the Lebanon Police Department received an Emergency 911 call regarding an armed robbery that had just occurred at the McDonalds located at 249 Plainfield Road in West Lebanon. The 911 caller further advised that a McDonald’s employee was shot during the robbery.
Investigating officers determined that a male subject, possibly wearing either a red shirt or red hooded sweatshirt, with his faced and head covered, confronted an employee emptying trash outside with a handgun. The suspect forced the employee back inside where he demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect forced the employee toward a rear door where he shot the employee in the leg before fleeing.
The suspect was last seeing running on foot from McDonalds in an unknown direction. The victim, a 19 year old male, was transported to the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for treatment of a gunshot wound, which was non-life threatening.
The Lebanon Police Patrol and Detective Bureaus continue to investigate this incident. Anyone having any information is encouraged to call the Lebanon Police Department at 603-448-1212 or our anonymous tip-line at 603-448-CLUE.
