Forward-thinking employers in Lebanon have installed electric vehicle (EV) chargers for employee use, recognizing that the number of EVs in New Hampshire is predicted to increase by 1,790% over the coming decade. Are you one of them? The EV Subcommittee of the Lebanon Energy Advisory Committee would like to recognize employers who offer EV charging or other clean-transportation incentives to their employees. Please contact the Lebanon Energy Advisory Committee through the Boards and Committees Contact Form so your initiative receives the recognition it deserves!
If your company or nonprofit organization does not yet have an EV charger for employees, check out the EV Subcommittee web page for resources on workplace charging.
In particular, a new U.S. Department of Energy program called EMPOWER (Equitable Mobility Powering Opportunities for Workplace Electrification Readiness) exists to walk employers through the process of adding EV charging. This program is run locally by the Clean Cities Coalitions of each state. EMPOWER can help employers access the right people at utilities, EV charging vendors, financial incentives and rebates, and more.
Find out more in a free online webinar, “Watts Behind Workplace Charging?” on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, from 10:30am to 12:00pm, hosted by the Granite State Clean Cities Coalition and others. Register today!
