[ARCHIVED] Search for Lebanon’s City Manager Begins!

The City Council has selected Municipal Resources Inc. (MRI) of Meredith, NH (http://www.mrigov.com/) to conduct the search for Lebanon’s next City Manager.

Four firms responded to the Governance Committee’s request for proposals, all of which were interviewed by the Committee.  Two firms were selected for in-person interviews with the City Council, which were held on Saturday, June 3, 2017.  Along with MRI, the Council interviewed Strategic Government Resources of Keller, Texas.  Both presentations and portfolios were excellent, and while it was felt that both could be successful in the process, in the end the City Council felt MRI better met the current needs of Lebanon.

MRI specializes in serving New England communities with a demonstrated track record of drawing national candidates into their searches, averaging submittals from twenty-one states per search.  Recent successful searches conducted were for the City Manager in Claremont, NH, the City Manager in Portland, ME, and the Town Manager in Enfield, NH.  The City Council looks very forward to working with MRI to find Lebanon’s next City Manager.
