[ARCHIVED] Tobacco Ordinance Effective July 1st

The City of Lebanon "Use of Tobacco Products & Equipment" ordinance will be effective July 1, 2017. Here’s what you need to know.

Enactment: On May 3, 2017, the Lebanon City Council passed Ordinance #2017-02, to amend the Code of the City of Lebanon to include Chapter 160, Tobacco Products and Equipment.

What Does This Mean?  Effective July 1, 2017, use of all tobacco products and equipment will be prohibited in all City-owned parks and public places, and within 30 feet of any main entrance or exit, and any operable window of all City-owned buildings.  Designated smoking areas will be established as determined by the City Manager.  Failure to comply with the regulations may result in fines ranging from $25 to $100.
