The City of Lebanon is seeking a qualified and experienced professional to join its team within the Department of Public Works. The Assistant Public Works Director for Administration is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about community development and improving the quality of life for residents. As the Assistant Public Works Director, you will work closely with the Public Works Director and others within the leadership team on budgeting and contracts, process improvement, project management, asset and facility life cycles, green energy, employee development, mentorship, and team leadership. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other city departments to identify and implement innovative solutions to challenges.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. The successful candidate will have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills, be able to prepare and manage a major department budget, capital improvement, and equipment replacement plans, and is an engaged employee manager. A commitment to delivering excellent customer service and dedication to being a leader are key personality traits. An engineering degree is not required.
The salary range is $93.554.24 - $126,288.24 annually.
