[ARCHIVED] The Passing of Ray Buskey

As many of you are already aware Raymond A. Buskey, long-time Lebanon resident and dedicated city volunteer, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017. Ray lived in and loved Lebanon for over thirty years. Serving our city as a representative to the Advance Transit (AT) Board of Directors for the past twenty years, Ray stated in his most recent application for re-appointment (August 2016) that Advanced Transit "continues to be the best solution to mitigate the impacts of increased growth on the City of Lebanon and the Upper Valley transportation network."

On a personal note, I had the honor of serving with him on the AT Board, as well as attending countless meetings and hearings where the transportation needs and impacts on the City were highlighted on the agenda. Ray dedicated himself to every discussion he took part in; thoughtful, skilled and kind, his efforts will be felt in Lebanon and the Upper Valley for many years.

Take a moment, smile and remember Ray.

Respectfully,
Sue Prentiss, Mayor
