The Justice System Training and Research Institute at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I., in partnership with the New England Association of Chiefs of Police, recently recognized Lebanon Police Department’s Corporal Ryan Brewster and Corporal Zachary Lawrence’s successful completion of the comprehensive Command Training Series program for police supervisory personnel.
On December 9, 2022, Corporal Brewster and Corporal Lawrence completed the First Line Supervisor Course. This two-week course addresses contemporary concepts of management and leadership as they apply to first line supervisors in a modern police agency.
In the program, experienced academics and law enforcement practitioners discussed topics that included operational leadership and management principles, problem-solving, organizational and interpersonal communications, labor relations, disciplinary issues, and ethical decision-making.
Along with Corporal Brewster and Corporal Lawrence’s accomplishments, the Lebanon Police Department will continue to strive to provide the highest quality service to the citizens and visitors of the City of Lebanon.
