[ARCHIVED] Appointment of Planning & Development Director

Welcome Nathan Reichert

City Manager Shaun Mulholland announces the appointment of Nathan K. Reichert to the position of Planning & Development Director for the City of Lebanon, effective October 3, 2022.  

Presently, Nathan serves as the Planning, Development and Zoning Official for the Town of North Stonington, Connecticut, where he directs the Land Use Department. In his current role, Nathan provides staff support to the Planning & Zoning Commission, Economic Development Commission, and other boards and committees; develops and manages the department budget; and serves as a member of the 1st Selectman’s Town leadership team, among other responsibilities.

Prior to his employment with North Stonington, Nathan served as the Zoning Official for the Town of Westerly, Rhode Island. Nathan has served as an Adjunct Economics Instructor for Muscatine Community College in Muscatine, Iowa since 2008, and was a State Representative to the Iowa General Assembly from 2005 through 2011.

Nathan possesses a Master of Business Administration from the Henry B. Tippie School of Management at the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Colorado.

“I am pleased to have Nathan Reichert join the City leadership team as the Planning & Development Director”, said City Manager Mulholland. “His knowledge and experience will serve the City well and I look forward to working with him as we move Lebanon toward a sustainable future.”
