Please be mindful to travel slowly when passing west or east from traveling to or from the MRG on August 6 & 7. Troop 10659 and volunteers will be working on Saturday, August 6 from 9-12, and Sunday, August 7 from 9-2 pending any weather delays. With guidance from Lebanon Recreation, Arts, and Parks we met to discuss what community project could be done. The Recreation, Arts, and Parks Department has wanted to add color to these concrete pieces on the bridge heading towards the MRG. The Troop worked with local muralists, and artists to create a plan and the pillars will have an ombre effect. Each pillar will have three shades of one color ( lighter red, medium red, dark red and so on). There will be two red, two orange, two yellow, two blue, two green and two purple. As far as the plantars there will be a water themed element added to them and color with the help of local muralists, and the troop will plan to add handprints for a lasting mark of the work done by them. We are thrilled to see their hard work and planning come together this weekend and special thanks to Sherwin Williams for donating all of the paint and materials and thank you to Troop 10659 and volunteers.
