Attention Lebanon Voters: May 31, 2022, is the last day to change your party affiliation before the September 13, 2022, NH State Primary. To verify your party affiliation, please visit the State of NH's Voter Information Lookup site.
As a reminder, Undeclared voters are not required to declare a party affiliation prior to the Primary. Upon entering the polls, Undeclared voters can participate in the Primary by announcing which party's ballot they would like to receive. Those voters will have the option of reverting to Undeclared upon exiting the polls.
However, if you are currently affiliated as a Democrat or Republican and would like to change your affiliation, you will need to do so by May 31, 2022. Voters who are registered as Democrats or Republicans will be provided the ballot for the party they are affiliated with. Please note, that our office is closed Fridays and will be closed on Monday, May 30th in observance of Memorial Day.
Party Affiliation can be changed at the City Clerk's Office during regular business hours, Monday through Thursday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Party Affiliation can also be changed at the Supervisor of the Voter Checklist Session. We cannot accept party changes by mail.
The Supervisor of the Voter Checklist Session will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in the City Council Chambers at City Hall from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM. In addition to Party Affiliation changes, the Supervisors of the Checklist will also be accepting changes and corrections to the voter checklist including new voter registration.
