[ARCHIVED] West Lebanon Main Street Improvements - Neighborhood Walk and Community Conversation

West Leb revitalization

Over the last 15 months, the Planning & Development Department has worked with an engineering consultant and coordinated with the West Lebanon Revitalization Advisory Committee to prepare conceptual plans for streetscape improvements to the Main Street corridor between South Main Street and Bridge Street. These plans are being prepared based on numerous recent studies and reports that document strong public support for creating a more appealing environment along Main Street in West Lebanon.

Links to the conceptual streetscape plans and photo-simulations, the Advisory Committee's 2022 "Action Plan for West Leb", and the 2020 West Lebanon Village Visioning Charrette report can all be found at LebanonNH.gov/WestLebFuture.

The Planning & Development Department invites the public to review and discuss the conceptual plans for streetscape improvements along Main Street. A Community Conversation will be held in the Kilton Library (80 Main Street, West Lebanon) Community Room on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 6:30pm-8:00pm to present the conceptual plans for the corridor, seek public input, and answer questions about potential improvements.

A neighborhood walk of the Main Street corridor will take place beginning at 3:00pm in advance of the evening meeting. Starting in front of the Kilton Library, members of City staff, along with the design engineers, will walk Main Street to review the project area and to describe and discuss potential changes and improvements in front of individual properties.

We look forward to your attendance and participation in this important project to advance the revitalization of downtown West Lebanon.
