The City of Lebanon has an agreement with Comcast, a cable TV and Internet provider, to build a new high-speed (broadband) Internet infrastructure. The City will utilize $60,000 in American Rescue Plan Funds to supplement $535,000 from Comcast to add service to 142 “unserved” homes in Lebanon, as well as to the City’s new Airport Industrial Park, Area 1B.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2022. For those currently unserved locations, you will be contacted by Comcast to inquire about your interest in obtaining new service approximately 30 days prior to the estimated construction date. No action is required at this time.
