Lebanon Fire Chief, Chris Christopoulos, Jr. was recognized as Firefighter of the Year for his contributions to the NH Fire Service by the North Country Public Service Foundation on Friday, October 29, 2021.

The North Country Public Service Foundation is “dedicated to the support of public safety officers and their families in times of need, by providing expertise and structure to community relief efforts and fundraising.” An annual dinner and awards ceremony is held at the Mt. Washington Hotel each fall. Those who receive awards are honored for their selfless acts over many years of hard work and dedication to their community in their field of emergency services.

Chris is also the New England Division representative on the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) Board of Directors and is a past President of the New Hampshire Association of Fire Chiefs and the New England Division of the IAFC.

Congratulations Fire Chief Christopoulos! Thank you for your service to the City of Lebanon and your dedication to public safety.
