The municipal portion of the total tax rate was projected to be $10.21 (2.5% over 2020). Increased revenue sharing by the State of New Hampshire for Meals and Rooms Taxes has provided the City with an additional $330,000 in unanticipated revenue. That amount combined with an increased total net valuation for taxable land within the City has dropped the anticipated tax rate increase for 2021 to 1%.
