On June 16, 2021 around 12:15 A.M. Lebanon Officers responded to the area of School St. after receiving a 911 call reporting a male had assaulted a female and was believed to be impaired. Officers located:
Coleman Gross, Age: 19, of Lebanon.
Gross appeared to be under the influence of controlled substances and refused to comply with verbal commands of the responding Officers. While attempting to detain Gross for the purpose of the investigation, Gross became combative and began throwing punches at two Lebanon Officers. Police K-9 Blesk was deployed to assist with the apprehension of Gross at which time Gross struck Blesk twice in the head area. Officers were able to take Gross into custody after a taser was deployed. He was brought to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for minor injuries. No Officers were injured during this arrest.
Gross was charged with two counts of Simple Assault, Resisting Arrest or Detention and Interfering with Police Dogs, all Class A Misdemeanors. Gross was released on personal recognizance bail and will appear in Grafton County Superior Court at a later date.
