On June 13, 2021, at approximately 2:38 PM, the Lebanon Police Department received a report from a female resident on North Main Street in West Lebanon regarding a male who was attempting to gain access to her residence.
As Officers were responding, they were flagged down by a neighboring resident on North Main Street, informing the Officers he had just woke up to find someone inside of his residence. Officers located the suspect exiting the man’s residence and was identified as Michael Fleming, age 38, of White River Junction, VT. He was taken into custody without incident.
Fleming was charged with Burglary, a Class B Felony, Criminal Trespass and Contempt, both Class A Misdemeanors. He was also charged with Loitering or Prowling, a Violation level offense. Fleming was currently out on bail from two prior arrests with numerous charges, including Criminal Threatening with a Deadly Weapon and Resisting Arrest. Fleming was held in preventative detention, pending Grafton County Superior Court arraignment on June 14, 2021.
