New Hampshire law (RSA 654:39) requires that the Supervisors of the Checklist verify the checklist every ten years. Any person on the checklist who has not voted in the past four years must re-register to remain on the checklist. Letters will be sent to these others at the address the voter provided when registering, to notify them of this process.
The Supervisors of the Checklist for Lebanon Wards 1, 2 and 3 voter checklists held a session on June 24th to determine which voters would receive a notice to re-register. The notices were mailed on June 30, 2021.

If you receive a letter, you will need to re-register to vote with the City Clerk's Office during regular office hours, Monday through Thursday, 7:00AM to 5:00PM. There will also be another Supervisor of the Checklist session held for re-registration as well as accepting additions and corrections to the checklist. This session will be held in the City Hall Offices, 51 North Park Street on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 6:00PM to 6:30PM.
Applicants for voter registration who possess proof of identity, age, citizenship, and domicile should bring that proof when the come to register. Qualified applicants who do not possess proof or who do not bring proof with them may still register if they sign an affidavit attesting to their qualifications for identity, age, and citizenship, and/or domicile. As a reminder, party affiliation changes are once again open for any voters who wish to do so. If you would like to verify your party affiliation, you may do so by using the State of NH Voter Information Website. Party changes will need to be made in-person at the City Clerk's office or at a Supervisor of the Checklist Session.
