The City of Lebanon now qualifies as a HUBZone, a designation given by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to Historically Underutilized Business Zones. This designation can help companies expand their business by giving them a preferred status when competing for government contracts (both prime and sub-prime).
Grafton and Sullivan Counties join the areas of Concord, Dover, Franklin, Manchester, Nashua, Rochester, and all of Coos County as designated HUBZone areas in the state.
The SBA will hold HUBZone workshops in Lebanon (Nov. 18), Littleton (Nov. 22) and Claremont (Dec. 9) to assist Granite State small businesses determine eligibility and guide the application process.
The Lebanon workshop will be held on Friday November 18, 2016 from 9:00am-11:30am at River Valley Community College, 15 Hanover Street, Lebanon, NH.
The Littleton workshop will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from 9:00am-11:30am at White Mountains Community College, 646 Union Street, Littleton, NH.
The Claremont workshop will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 9:00am-11:30am at River Valley Community College, 1 College Place, Claremont, NH.
