On Thursday, October 15, 2020, at approximately 3:49 PM, a Lebanon resident on Guyer Street reported to the Lebanon Police Department that she received a call from a blocked number claiming to be the IRS, stating they needed her information, and that the caller was on his way to get her. The caller stated that approximately five minutes later a white SUV pulled into her driveway.
A white male passenger knocked on her door and told her to pay $15,000 or she would have to go to the police station with them. He attempted to obtain her social security number and see her identification, but he refused to show her any of his identification. He already knew her name and date of birth.
The subject was described as:
- White male
- Brown hair, with no facial hair
- Approximately late 20s - 30s
- Approximately 6 feet tall
- Wearing a suit
Unknown description of the vehicle operator. Unknown make, model, or license plate of the white SUV. Unknown direction of travel from Guyer Street, as the vehicle left while the caller notified Lebanon Police.
