The Census aims to include all members of Lebanon’s community, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, or place of birth. Census data will be used for the next ten years to make sure Lebanon residents are fairly represented in state and federal government, and that the City receives its fair share of federal and state funding for local programs such as education, health care, or housing. Specifically, more than $675 billion in federal funds, grants, and support is distributed to states, counties, and communities based on census data.
