[ARCHIVED] Take the 2020 Census to Help Us Get Representation

Census 2020 - Everyone counts.

The 2020 U.S. Census is an opportunity for all Lebanon residents to be counted. Right now, our community participation rate is at about 70% while New Hampshire, on the whole, is currently ranked 25th in responses. Yet, it’s easy and fast to participate!

Visit 2020census.gov to take the census online!

The Census aims to include all members of Lebanon’s community, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, or place of birth. Census data will be used for the next ten years to make sure Lebanon residents are fairly represented in state and federal government, and that the City receives its fair share of federal and state funding for local programs such as education, health care, or housing. Specifically, more than $675 billion in federal funds, grants, and support is distributed to states, counties, and communities based on census data.

You can learn more about Census 2020 including the timeline and why it’s important to Lebanon residents at LebanonNH.gov/Census.
