On Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at approximately 4:02 PM, it was reported to the Lebanon Police Department that a stolen credit card was just used to purchase food at Ziggy’s Pizza in West Lebanon. The suspect using the card forged the signature on the receipt to match the name on the credit card. A few minutes later, a purchase was attempted at Walmart with the same stolen card but was declined. The suspect then returned to Ziggy’s to pick up the food he had purchased with the card.
Officers arrived on scene at Ziggy’s and the suspect was identified as Joshua Thibodeau, age 39, of Windsor, VT. Thibodeau was taken into custody and charged with Receiving Stolen Property with two prior convictions, a Class B Felony, Credit Card Fraud, a Class B Felony, and Identity Fraud, a Class A Felony. Thibodeau was released by a bail commissioner on personal recognizance bail, with a Grafton County Superior Court date of June 16, 2020.
