[ARCHIVED] Please Minimize Visits to the Solid Waste Facility

bags of garbage with thumbs down for one bag, and thumbs up for multiple bags

The Lebanon Solid Waste/Recycling Center is seeing an increase in the number of customers per day, many of them bringing in only ONE bag of trash and nothing else.

With concerns about community COVID-19 transmission, the City is encouraging residents to reduce their frequency of trips to the Solid Waste/Recycling Center. This can be done by making an effort to only visit the facility when you have a minimum of 4 or 5 bags.

City staff continues to abide by CDC guidelines including creating
physical distancing squares at the Recycling Center, posting signs, reducing and - where appropriate - eliminating human contact, and reminding residents of safe practices.

We appreciate your assistance in this matter. Lebanon Solid Waste staff is here to assist in this COVID-19 Pandemic in any we can. For more information about how the City is responding to the COVID-19 Pandemic, please visit LebanonNH.gov/COVID19.

Please also review the safety precautions we ask you to take when you visit the Solid Waste Facility.

Thank you for your cooperation,
The Public Works Department
