The City Council, at their February 15, 2017 meeting, accepted the Zoning Ordinance Amendments as presented for Section 608 (Signs) and set a Public Hearing for April 19, 2017. The City Council authorized the formation of a task force to develop new sign regulations, which have not been substantially revised in 25 years. In the meantime, however, staff recommends the adoption of interim amendments to §608 of the Zoning Ordinance to quickly address those provisions that are most obviously problematic as a result of Reed.
The amendments were forwarded to the City's land use boards for review and comment (§1000).

- Zoning Board - for the March 6, 2017 meeting.
- Conservation Commission - for the March 9, 2017 meeting.
The Council will then hold a public hearing followed by a vote on whether to adopt the amendments. Public hearing is scheduled for April 19, 2017. §1000.3.D.
