As a follow up to the 2016 Downtown Visioning Study, the Planning & Development Department is working with the community to craft new design regulations for development in Downtown Lebanon.
The Lebanon Planning & Development Department cordially invites members of the public to attend a Community Conversation on Thursday, August 15, 2019 to review and consider new zoning and site plan review regulations for Downtown Lebanon. The meeting will be held at 6:00 PM in the City Council Chambers, 5th Floor, City Hall, 51 North Park Street. The purpose of the Community Conversation is to answer questions and receive feedback about the draft regulations.
Updated design strategies address various elements of the streetscape and site, façade appearance, and parking, including but not limited to walkability, dimensional requirements, setbacks and compatibility.
For additional details, including a project information handout and past project presentations, see the Lebanon Downtown District Regulations project page. This page includes a set of draft zoning regulations for the proposed “Lebanon Downtown District”, which would replace the existing zoning regulations in downtown Lebanon. Also included are draft amendments to the site plan review regulations, specifically tailored for development in downtown Lebanon.
If you are unable to attend the August 15th Community Conversation, you can share questions and comments by phone at 603-448-1457 or by email addressed to planning@lebanonnh.gov.
