On Saturday August 3, 2019 at approximately 10:26 PM, the Lebanon Police Department received a call from a concerned party advising that his female friend asked him to contact the police as she was in fear of a male acquaintance she was staying with at the Quality Inn. It was reported that the man had a firearm and the female advised she was unable to leave the room.
Lebanon Officers, along with assistance from the Hanover and Hartford Police Departments, responded and set up a perimeter around the hotel. Several hotel guests in close vicinity to the suspects room were evacuated as a precaution.
Contact was then made with the female and she was able to leave the room and was escorted outside by officers.
The suspect, Mark A. Perry, age 40, of Dorchester NH, was then taken into custody without incident. A search warrant was executed on the room and officers located a pellet gun in Perry’s belongings as well as Clonazepam, Lorazepam, and Adderall. Perry is charged with three Class B Felony counts of Possession of a Controlled Drug.
Perry was held by the Department of Corrections on a probation detainer and was transported to the Grafton County House of Corrections. He is scheduled to be arraigned today, August 5, 2019, in the Grafton County Superior Court.
