Lebanon Firefighters Battle High Heat

Lebanon Firefighters battled the high heat during the extinguishment of two fires today.

At 1329 hours units responded to Route 120 at I-89 Exit 18 for a report of a motor vehicle fire. Upon arrival personnel found a pick-up truck heavily involved in fire. Personnel extinguished the fire and the incident was under control at 1339 hours.

At 1646 hours units responded to 122 Hanover Street for a report of a building fire. Upon arrival personnel found a 12' x 12 'detached storage shed heavily involved in fire. The fire was quickly extinguished and declared under control at 1655 hours. The nearby home had no damage, but the shed was a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Lebanon Fire Department, Fire Prevention Division. Any one who might have witnessed this fire is asked to contact Inspector Duane Egner at 603-448-8810.

There were no injuries at either incident.
