Lebanon Firefighters battled the high heat during the extinguishment of two fires today.
At 1329 hours units responded to Route 120 at I-89 Exit 18 for a report of a motor vehicle fire. Upon arrival personnel found a pick-up truck heavily involved in fire. Personnel extinguished the fire and the incident was under control at 1339 hours.
At 1646 hours units responded to 122 Hanover Street for a report of a building fire. Upon arrival personnel found a 12' x 12 'detached storage shed heavily involved in fire. The fire was quickly extinguished and declared under control at 1655 hours. The nearby home had no damage, but the shed was a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Lebanon Fire Department, Fire Prevention Division. There were no injuries at either incident.
