[ARCHIVED] Council Requests Applications for Vacant Council Seat

The resignation of City Councilor Shane Smith has created a City Council vacancy in the Ward 2 voting district. Lebanon City Council is currently accepting applications for this vacant seat until Sunday, August 4, 2019. The term for this seat is from the time of appointment by the Council until the municipal election in March 2020. 

Should you choose to submit an application, you must be a duly qualified voter in the City and must have been a resident of the City for at least the past two years. As this is a Ward specific seat, you must also currently reside within the bounds of the Ward 2 voting district. 

Applications may be obtained on the City’s website or at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 51 North Park Street, Lebanon. Applications may be submitted via the website, filed in person at the City Clerk’s office, or emailed to the City Clerk: sandi.allard@lebanonnh.gov.

The City Council will review applications received and an appointment will be made at the regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council on Wednesday, August 21, 2019.
