On July 15, 2019 at approximately 4:00 PM, a Lebanon Police Officer observed a 1999 Ford Mustang driving through the lot of the Circle K on Main Street in West Lebanon. The officer noted that the Massachusetts registration plate did not match the vehicle it was attached to, and the officer stopped the vehicle in the lot to investigate.
After a brief investigation, Jordan A. Tarbox, age 20, of Gloucester, Massachusetts was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug with the Intent to Sell, and Using a Minor to Sell Drugs, both Class B Felony charges. The Ford Mustang was impounded, and a search warrant executed on the vehicle on July 16, where an extensive amount of Marijuana and Marijuana/THC products were recovered. The majority of the drugs appeared to have been obtained from dispensaries in Massachusetts and then brought to New Hampshire for sale. Recovered from the vehicle was: ¼ pound of Marijuana, 22 packages of Marijuana edible jellies, 2 containers of Marijuana “Dabs,” 19 THC extract vape cartridges, along with drug paraphernaTarboxlia.
The investigation also revealed that Tarbox was utilizing the 15-year-old male driver to facilitate the sale of the drugs and Marijuana products. The 15-year-old juvenile was taken into protective custody and released to a guardian. The juvenile will face charges in Juvenile Court at a later date.
Tarbox was subsequently released on Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Grafton County Superior Court on July 29, 2019. This case is still under investigation and additional charges could be forthcoming.
