Lebanon Farmers' Market - Please be prepared to follow these rules to participate in the Farmers' Market.
O P E N I N G 🥕 D A Y .
The market will look significantly different this year, but it will still be full of the smiling faces (behind our masks, but we’ll all be doing it) that you look forward to seeing each year.
🍓 We’re extending our market hours to help ease foot traffic to make social distancing easier. We now open at 3:00pm!
🍓 You must wear a mask to be admitted to the market-we’ll be wearing them too! We’ll have hand sanitizer at the entrance (located across from City Hall/ Lebanon Opera House) for you to use as you enter Colburn Park.
🍓Please just send one person to shop at the market whenever possible. We’re asking the community to adopt a “CSA Pick-up” mindset for shopping at the market this season. It’s one of the easiest ways we can make changes to take care of each other!
🍓We encourage you to bring your own reusable shopping bags to the market (we’ve double checked with State agencies, and this is fine at farmers markets).
🍓We’re going to be hosting some fun ways for our community to stay connected on our Instagram grid. Please repost, and encourage your friends to follow us! https://www.instagram.com/lebanonfarmersmarket/
Summer 2020 Dates: Thursdays, May 14 - Sept. 24
Extended Dates Oct. 1 and October 8.
🍓 Throughout the summer many of our vendors will be offering the option of pre-ordering products. Click here for our Vendor Pre-Order Directory.
ABOUT OUR FARMERS MARKET
The Lebanon Farmers Market is held every Thursday with extended hours from 3 pm to 7 pm on Colburn Park in Lebanon during the summer season.
Despite the many changes taking place this year, we remain committed to reducing our carbon footprint, and that means using compostable products whenever possible. Prepared food vendors will be using compostable and recyclable containers. As park of our response to COVID-19, we ask that you do not consume prepared foods in the park, but instead take them with you. We will be limiting the number of waste disposal bins in Colburn Park to the exit to help discourage consumption of food in the park.
SUPPORT OUR LOCAL VENDORS
The mission of the Lebanon Farmers Market is to provide a venue where local farmers, producers, crafters and artisans come together to provide a variety of fresh produce and related products directly to the consumer. The market encourages direct communication between consumers and growers, fosters social gathering and community building and promotes nutritious food choices.
DOUBLE YOUR FOOD DOLLARS
Shop with your EBT card at the Lebanon Farmers Market and get up to $10 in additional Granite State Market Match to spend at the Farmers Market.
POP! (Power of Produce)
POP! is a great way for kids to explore the fresh, in-season produce at the market. In response to COVID-19, we are encouraging families to send only ONE SHOPPER to the market, and leave children at home whenever possible.
Check out the POP Play Pack for youth ages 17 and under! These packs, sponsored by Novo Nordisk, include $3 in POP Bucks (weekly) as well as a Discovery Book that contains weekly activities and maps to local trails for the family to explore. To learn more or to donate visit LebanonNH.gov/PlayPack.
In an effort to discourage groups of people gathering at the market, we have made the decision to not have live music at the market this summer. Many of our past musicians have websites, and it would be a great time to look them up and buy a CD and some merch.
WASTE REDUCTION PROGRAM
The Lebanon Farmers Market is proud to continue our Waste Reduction Program for the 2020 season. We’ve worked hard alongside our vendors to identify ways to reduce waste at our bustling evening market.
