How to Determine Your Permit Fee

All permit fees are due upon submission of a permit application. The following permit fee calculator will help you determine fees for projects. You may also review our Permit Fee Schedule for details about how these fees are determined. 

Permit Fee Calculator Tips

  • You must click the Residential or Commercial radio button before entering the cost of construction.
  • RESIDENTIAL = any residential one and two-family (detached) construction and/or renovation projects. 
  • COMMERCIAL = any multi-family residential (including attached units), commercial, and/or industrial construction or renovation projects. 
  • Permit fees are calculated to the nearest dollar.
