❗ Change of Operations Notice
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Human Services office is no longer offering walk-in hours. The office is open for appointments from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm and 2:00-4:00 pm. Customers need to call (603-448-2944) or email (welfare@lebanonnh.gov) to schedule an appointment. Customers will be required to wear masks and use hand sanitizer for in-person appointments. Phone appointments are also available.
Please note that an Application for Assistance is required for financial assistance. Phone applicants will be advised to submit the application via email or fax when possible.

NH Food Bank Mobile Food Pantry Coming to Lebanon Airport
Are you experiencing food insecurity? The NH Food Bank will be distributing food to individuals and families on Tuesday, Jan 26 from 12:00-2:00 at the Lebanon Airport. This is a drive-thru event, open to all, no registration or proof of income required. View event details.
Mission Statement
The mission of Lebanon Human Services is to relieve and maintain those in our community who are economically disadvantaged and unable to sustain the basic needs of food, shelter, and emergency medical assistance. Further, it is our objective to build and keep strong our relationships with local, state, and federal agencies so that those in need receive a well-rounded, well-managed plan to return to financial self-sufficiency. General Assistance is provided to all eligible persons in a respectful and fiscally responsible manner, fostering dignity and self-sufficiency while protecting the welfare of the citizens and taxpayers of the City of Lebanon.
