Arts & Culture Commission
The City Council established the Arts and Culture Commission to promote, cultivate, support, and establish policies for arts and culture activities in the City of Lebanon.

Board of Assessors
The goal of the Board of Assessors is to provide equitable defensible assessments for all taxpayers.

Board of Cemetery Trustees
In June 2018, the City Council adopted an ordinance to establish a Board of Cemetery Trustees pursuant to RSA 289 in order to operate and maintain all cemeteries owned by the City of Lebanon.

City Council
The City of Lebanon operates under a City Council/City Manager form of government. A nine-member City Council is elected for two-year terms. The City Council is responsible for establishing City policies.

Conservation Commission
The Conservation Commission conducts research concerning the local area and seeks to coordinate the activities of other organizations working for similar purposes.

Downtown Lebanon TIF Advisory Board
In October 2018, the City Council adopted an ordinance to establish a Downtown Lebanon TIF Advisory Board pursuant to RSA 162-K:14 for the purpose of advising the City Council and District Administrator on the policies and actions related to the implementation of the Downtown Lebanon TIF District Development Program.

Economic Vitality Exchange Committee
The Economic Vitality Exchange Committee serves as a forum where elected City leaders and private sector business and organization leaders come together in an effort to produce sustainable economic vitality for Lebanon in the 21st Century.

Governance Committee
The Governance Committee acts as an advisory committee to the Lebanon City Council and serves as the liaison between the City Council and City staff in order to review the effectiveness of local government.

Heritage Commission
The Commission is responsible for the proper recognition of resources that are valued for their historic, cultural, aesthetic or community significance.

Lebanon Energy Advisory Committee
This committee identifies opportunities and makes recommendations to the City Council with regard to reducing energy use to the environmental and fiscal benefit of the City.

Library Board of Trustees
The Library Board of Trustees consists of seven regular members (elected) and up to three alternate members (appointed) who meet on the fourth Tuesday of every month.

Ped & Bike Advisory Committee
The Pedestrian and Bicyclist Advisory Committee’s mission is to help make the City of Lebanon more safely walk-able and bike-able.

Planning Board
This board is responsible for reviewing all new construction, except 1- and 2-family homes, and subdivisions of land occurring in the City.

School/City Task Force
The School District/City Council Task Force meets to identify areas where the City and School can partner to increase communication, operational efficiencies, and cost-saving measures in an effort to best serve the residents of Lebanon.

The Steering Committee for the Implementation of the Master Plan (or SCIMP) is charged with the implementation of the City's Master Plan.

The Section 608 Sign Task Force was created to review and draft proposed amendments to Section 608, Signs, of the Lebanon Zoning Ordinance.

Zoning Board of Adjustment
The Zoning Board of Adjustment, pursuant to New Hampshire law, hears and decides appeals from administrative decisions, special exceptions and variances.
