Scavenger Hunt Info:
As part of the 31 days of activities with Lebanon Recreation & Parks. Today (10/20) is the first day for a scavenger hunt. These activities are designed with a location & a clue. You have the fun!
Things to keep in mind:
- The activity prizes are appropriate for ages 3 - 10, but we will say that ages 3-17 can participate with guardian supervision.
- Each location will have 6 prizes to be claimed and we are asking that families claim 1 prize per household.
- There will be multiple days for scavenger hunts.
- The first clue for (10/20) is below.
- We will be update each day we have a NEW hunt.
- Please share a photo FINDING the prize so we know how many are still able to be found. Send an e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or post a photo on your public Facebook or Instagram account using #octobereenlebrec.
10/20 - Scavenger Hunt is: Location in Colburn Park and the clue is music notes. Answer: Bandstand
10/21 - Scavenger Hunt is: Location OUTSIDE Kilton Library and the clue is gardening. Answer: Kilton Community Gardens
10/22 - Scavenger Hunt is: Location Smith Field Playground and the clue is slide. Answer: Hiding on the slide landing.
10/27 - Scavenger Hunt is: Location Northern Rail Trail and the clue is sign.
Halloween FunFest on Colburn Park
**NOTE** Due to the COVID19 Pandemic at this time Lebanon Recreation will not be holding our annual Halloween FunFest on Colburn Park. However we will be featuring the above calendar with daily activities you can access daily here and on our social media pages for Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter! We look forward to celebrating all that Octobereen has to offer for you! October 31: Happy Halloween from all of us at Lebanon Recreation & Parks. Please remember to MASK UP, bring a flashlight/headlamp/glow stick, and practice social distancing.
October 30: It's time for your weekend meal treat. This week is Spider Pizza Bites! Try your hand at these cute critters and enjoy with other appetizer treats.
October 29: Scavenger Hunt at Mascoma River Greenway! The Clue: Gardener planting. This activity is appropriate for ages 3 - 17 with guardian supervision. There are 6 prizes to be claimed. The prizes will be out to be found between 9am-4pm. Please CLAIM 1 prize per family.
October 28: Scavenger Hunt at Riverside Park! The Clue: Sign. This activity is appropriate for ages 3 - 17 with guardian supervision. There are 6 prizes to be claimed. The prizes will be out to be found between 9am-4pm. Please CLAIM 1 prize per family.
October 27: Scavenger Hunt at Northern Rail Trail! The Clue: Sign. This activity is appropriate for ages 3 - 17 with guardian supervision. There are 6 prizes to be claimed. The prizes will be out to be found between 9am-4pm. Please CLAIM 1 prize per family.
October 26: It's rainy, and cold days like today that you want to wrap up like a mummy. Try you hand at this clever craft and your mummy can be any color you'd like.

October 24: We want you to have a super safe Halloween! Below are just a few more tips to ensure you are having a great and safe Halloween. Be sure to share those amazing costume photos with email@example.com.
October 23: It's time to get your heads on and focus really hard this weekend. Your meal for the weekend is spaghetti brains! Try your hand or minds at this spooky dish! Thank you to Lindsay Smith at the COOP Food Stores on the collaboration on this creation!

October 19: It's time to #lightupleb. We want you to help us lightupleb on Halloween night on Colburn Park. Put your carving skills to the test. Register at bit.ly/lightupleb.
October 19: Now that you've had the weekend it's time to show us your favorite leaf picking up photos. Sent them to firstname.lastname@example.org and be featured in our slideshow.
October 18: Soaring Sunday and batty craft time. Try your hand at using a toilet paper roll, some craft paper, and make more than just one color.
October 17: Sometimes we all just need a good laugh and leaves gives us that bit of relief. Other times they make our perfect lawn tarnished with 1 leaf that falls after you've raked.
October 16: Who doesn't love chili! Well we had to share an easy recipe is something we are willing to try. Check out this 5 ingredient chili.
October 15: Tonight is the night! We want YOUR voice to be heard and 6pm is the meeting via ZOOM. We want to hear you and your opinion on a Lebanon Community Center.
October 14: Wicked Wednesday because it's to be a wicked fun time when you can register for your own Halloween Craft Kit! Click here to register (Wicked Wednesday).

October 4: It's time to get crafting again with some potatoes to make some pumpkins! A fun hands on activity with just a few items.
October 3: Have you picked your apples yet? If not here are some very local options for in person apple picking or curbside pick up! You PICK!
