The City of Lebanon continues to invest in the health and well-being of all its residents, and we'd like to remind you that the code regulating "Use of Tobacco Products & Equipment" went into effect on July 1, 2017.
Enactment: On May 3, 2017, the Lebanon City Council passed Ordinance #2017-02, to amend the Code of the City of Lebanon to include Chapter 160, Tobacco Products and Equipment.
What Does This Mean? Effective July 1, 2017, use of all tobacco products and equipment will be prohibited in all City-owned parks and public places, and within 30 feet of any main entrance or exit, and any operable window of all City-owned buildings. Designated smoking areas will be established as determined by the City Manager. Failure to comply with the regulations may result in fines ranging from $25 to $100.

Designated smoking areas will be established as determined by the City Manager. The following maps indicate the currently approved designated areas. Approved areas are marked in red.
Enforcement of this policy will be a community effort. If you see somebody using tobacco or e-cigarettes in a no-smoking area, please gently remind them that there are designated smoking areas for them to utilize. If that doesn't work, then the police are happy to assist and can be reached at 603-448-1212. Failure to comply with the regulations may result in fines ranging from $25 to $100.
