A friendly reminder to our local dog lovers, owners, and sitters.
A walk in the park can quickly be ruined by stepping in dog "doody". While most of our residents are careful to clean up after their dogs, it has come to our attention that some are falling short in their duty to "scoop the poop".
Please remember that use of public lands by our four-legged friends requires that we carry and use the instruments needed to keep those lands clean for all to enjoy. This includes our local recreation fields, parks, playgrounds, sidewalks, and cemeteries.
For more information on the City Code governing removal of dog defecation from public and private properties, please see § 18-12: Removal of dog defecation from public and private properties.
Thank you for doing your part to keep our lands enjoyable for all!
